If it was any smaller I probably would have gotten it, I felt bad for the poor thing. But this was one of those big 2ft tall bears and I just don't have the room.

Andy, but they decided against it at the last minute. However, my dad's brother and his pregnant wife really liked the name, and a few months later my cousin Andy was born.

That was such a fun promotion, I kept my Squishee cups for years until they got banged up while moving.

Wikipedia article on the Novachord

I picked Parade of the Wooden Soldiers to highlight, but his Novachord rendition of Liebestraum is also really great.

Melba Moore sings "Holding Out For a Hero" while Marvel characters strike cool poses.

Also, Wolverine's brown and yellow costume of the 80s has always been my favorite of his outfits.

A strange little film, but I think the puppeteer does a pretty good job of bringing Pirro to life.

I remember seeing this in Nintendo Power back in the day. I've got a hunch that url doesn't work anymore.

Oh, they're not good at all! I grew up with a secondhand 2600 and a box full of Atari games, many of which were actually worth talking about. But for whatever reason I really gravitated towards ET, Pac-Man, Centipede (a legit good game), and Ms Pac-Man (also a good game). Pac-Man is not a great arcade port by any stretch but at least you have a rough idea of how to play it. ET is just straight-up impenetrable if you don't have the manual (which I didn't) but I still liked controlling ET and wandering around trying to find the pieces of the telephone. Those pits, though? Still completely bogus, I've got no rose-colored glasses for those things.

My Zenfone 8 has a notification LED. I really appreciate it, because all I have to do is look over and see if the light is blinking to see if I got a text.

I love jokes and sassy comments in game manuals. From what I remember, the SimCity 2000 manual was also written in a casual, less instructive style.

I went to a nearby diner and got chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. I was unprepared for just how large these pancakes were gonna be, so now I've got half a stack of pancakes sitting in a leftovers box in the fridge for tomorrow. All in all, not bad!

I feel like 'flipped' is the more common of the two, but I've heard plenty of people say 'flicked'. I'm in Texas, for what it's worth.
