My lemmy.world account won't delete. I enter my password and it just spins and spins and then nothing happens. Is this a known bug?

If I comment on a post in lemmy.world, could that information go to servers that we have defederated from since lemmy.world chose not to defederate from the server? (lemmy.ml)

Take Meta for example: We've chosen to defederate from them; lemmy.world is choosing not to as of right now. If I comment on one of their posts, does that mean Meta users could see what I said?
