I just finished reading through the entire series a month or two ago - what a fantastic series.

Just here to say, they're called Bollard posts. Unfortunately not talking about the Nazis, though I think they could be used for a similar purpose.

One thing to note about SAS to sata breakout cables is that they are directional. You need a reverse breakout cable to make that work.
