Is Rand a trustworthy organization? I feel like whenever these types of studies emerge that it's for the express purpose of securing funding. Especially considering this was commissioned by the Pentagon.

Not doubting that the US is driving itself into a situation where they won't be able to recover, but I don't think a study of this nature was necessary to prove that.

Why won't China just sanction his ass? Literally just sanction him and say that he's already supporting genocide

How long do you reckon it will take before we see the west try to (fruitlessly) regain control over Africa again?

Will we have to wait until the failure of the ME project or will it come with the failure of Ukraine?

Why not just call it out directly?

They are opposing Palestinian full membership bc of political calculation.

This is what I don't get about Chinese FP in general: why are you playing it so safe even when the situation is so blatant???

My issue is when they put down "redlines" for Taiwan, have the west/US brazenly violate those redlines, and then follow up with the US with a letter or phonecall.

At some point, it might even be beneficial if you stop declaring redlines. If countries can regularly break them, then it does more to make China look weak.

It's like the one criticism I have with China (in general!) right now.

They are dedicated to interacting as little as possible with the rest of the international community in the matter of global geopolitics.

Would be nice if they did a little more

I understand, but I'd like to ask them what they were thinking when the US inevitably flips the chessboard and shits all over the table in front of them.

C'mon bruh, do you even know who you're dealing with?

People with allergies or asthma= racists

This is telling us more about his beliefs and character tho.

What he essentially told people is that believes signs that prohibit POC from establishments hold the same gravity and moral depravity as "no pets" signs.

I like how they're trying to declare a victory, when H is still fighting in the north. They're doing this bc Iran is gonna strike them and has announced that they will do something for the embassy strike.

Lmaoooo at "years of fighting", they're about to get absolutely molly wopped and don't want to make it seem like they're making everything worse while accomplishing nothing
