Hello, it's what the title says. I feel like this can't go on like this, i don't have real friends and that's purely because of me not feeling like showing who i really am in front of others. I'm surrounded by people whom I wouldn't want to even talk to, because they are bigoted or merely ignorant. Instead, I think that by coming out I can get more chances to meet new people with whom I could feel comfortable talking to about my passions and ideas without being afraid to reveal my sexuality. This could also be a way to sort through the people i know around me and understand which one deserves sticking with me and which not. But this could be a bit dangerous, not to the level of risking being beaten up (maybe) but there is the risk of being marginalized by those around me, but then again if this could help me find real friends then maybe it's kinda worth it. What do you think about this? Has it ever happened to you that you wanted to come out but were afraid of the consequences?

I recently removed windows 10 from my pc, how can i merge the unallocated space with /dev/nvme0n1p5? There's the boot partition between so i can't just adjust one of them and merge with the other using the resize/move button. How can i do it?

This happened after i locked out my pc (like sleep mode but doesn't sleep, it just locks the screen asking for a password) and leaved it for a couple of hours on. When i returned i rebooted it because i couldn't even write the password in the box in order to unlock the screen and this happened. It stays like this and does nothing, i could wait hours and expect nothing to happen. How can i fix this? Thank you

Where can i see a demonstration of someone actually wearing it, instead of just seeing the cable removed and the screen locked out?

I don't know why but every now and then my display completely freezes, completely except my mouse which is still able to navigate the screen, but can't interact with anything. No hotkey works, seems that the keyboard freezes too when this happens, except for the one that lets me enable the leds of the pc. I use a msi laptop with hybrid graphics card if that can help

"Beware, Discord is very shifty when it comes to privacy data requests. Last year their Privacy Policy stated "In addition to the functionality available through the “Settings” of the Services, in which you can correct, update, amend, or delete certain personal data, you can also request . . . from us directly. Please write us at privacy@discord.com with the words “Personal Data Request” in the subject . . . along with an explanation of what data subject right you are seeking to exercise."

However they have since removed that text and there is a new clause that states they have a dedicated "Data Protection Officer" email. See, what they don't tell you is that privacy@discord.com is only for questions about privacy - not data requests. They have kept their DPO email hidden until recently and now it shows on their privacy policy as stated "You can contact Discord’s Data Protection Officer at dpo@discord.com." Curiously, they have removed all mention of "Personal Data Request" from their Privacy Policy. So unless you know what you are doing, you wouldn't know what to look for. Just a heads up!"

This comment was made by a certain "Joe" under the section of Contact information for privacy-related requests to “Discord, Inc.” on that same website i linked. So as he said if you will report a deletion request for Discord, make sure you send it to their Data Protection Officer at dpo@discord.com.

Hi, there's this situation i currently have with discord support, that they refuse to delete my phone number from my account. Basically every time i try to manually remove it, my account gets locked up until i add another phone number in order to continue accessing the service, "for security reasons" with no option for email verification (of course).

I contacted the support team asking for clarifications and if they could remove the phone number and, in short, they said that they couldn't do that since my account was flagged somehow, and that they won't remove the phone verification...

(their email)

Now, what are your opinions about this? Should i use a free voip number site in order to replace my real phone number with the fake one? My concern is that i don't know who could own that number so i don't know if it's safe to trust it, and i'm not willing to spend any money for this

This is El Gordo, a NIRCam medium deep field of a galaxy cluster contains hundreds of galaxies that existed when the universe was 6.2 billion years old.

The reddish distorted "fish-hook" like galaxy, called El Anzuelo, is a far galaxy, which its light took 10.6 billion years to reach us. Its distinctive red color is due to a combination of reddening from dust within the galaxy itself and cosmological redshift due to its extreme distance.

Hello, the only thing from stopping me to fully use Manjaro as my primary daily OS is that pirating on linux is inconvenient. When i install pirated games on Linux they must be really lightweight to support, like Undertale or Papers Please, because WINE uses Vulkan graphics and they are fucking terrible on slightly more heavy games like superhot and shit, this entails having bad frame rate like 20 fps (unplayable). To whoever is using Linux and also pirates games on daily basis, do you also have the same problem? Is there any solution you could suggest me? Thank you
