I really hope in the next few years we see a revolution in short distance transport. Most journeys are less than 3 miles (if I remember correctly, could be 5) a perfect distance for e-bikes, e-scooters and normal acoustic bikes. Hopefully at least some places capitalise on it

Metals are made of crystals, they usually defourm along the grain boundaries and fatigue cracks also grow along them. By eliminating those boundaries you reduce the chance for fatigue cracks and make the overall blade stronger.

Is the motor sparking is places it shouldn't. If it's the type of motor I think is likely to be there (brushed universal motor) it will spark where the brushes are. So your problem might just be normal operation of the motor. Could also be fucked, difficult to know without more detail

That is a very odd failure so not 100% sure. If I had to take a punt I would say the nozzle jammed from the mentioned heat creap issue, eventually the silk pla broke in the extruder as it's very brittle, combined with retractions. It then was then able to work its way out and make some noodles for you to enjoy.
