What I've seen so many people not understand with the situation we are in right now, is that we can't fix our current situation in one election. Everything is far to tucked up for that, so the best that can be done is vote for the least fucked up option and work to improve things. People refusing to participate or vote for the candidate who is unfortunately our best option currently (biden) are doing more damage than the people voting for the fascist party. The perfect candidate/option does not exist and never will (obviously not saying everything biden has done has been good).

So first off I know uploading a blueprint/image is probably needed for full assistance which I can do but not until later. But I am trying to create a blueprint of a city block I created that includes my rails and intersection (2 rails with a fourway at each corner) but I don't seem to understand how to set up the snap to grid because i can't seem to get the rails to line up for the grid. I'm not sure if I am messing up with the dimensions of the grid or with the offsets. Are there any tricks to getting this too work or anything like that?

So I have intermittently played factorio. Scraped through a vanilla playthrough a while back and just did a more serious playthrough recently. I would like to move into using more mods, getting better at using trains and such. Are there any recommended mods for where I'm at to be able to keep moving forward without jumping to far into the deep end of complexity too fast and losing interest?

Anyone paying 50000 for a Twitter handle is beyond stupid.

That search is the only reason a lot of people end up on reddit. This won't end well for reddit.

The idea that windows would require a subscription for an OS pisses me off more than I thought.

Good way for them to guarantee a exodus of people switching their OS.

Oil and gas companies need the same rules that cigarettes have. Where they aren't allowed to advertise.

My god. Are we seriously at a point the US government isn't able to get one washed up old traitorous racist to obey the rules in court? This is just sad. He should have been locked up so long ago it isn't even funny anymore.

I remember fondly playing overwatch 1 with my friends and sinking in hundreds of hours. If they wanted to break into the steam market they should have done it with the first one. Not with their lackluster, phoned in sequel. This was just stupid of them.

It's really not at this point. And claiming both sides are hateful is completely disingenuous at this point. One side is making death threats, talking about holy wars against Jews and intimidating the other side. It's like saying your raving gun toting uncle is the same as his brother who said some bad stuff 20 years ago. Sure what was said 20 years ago is awful, but the other uncle is planning to shoot up a school because it won't teach kids that slavery was good.

Switch to Linux and spend way more time making sure everything is updated and having to jump through hoops installing things.
