I just picked up the civ5 bundle for 90% off about a month ago. It is a 13 year old game, but it's still a great game.

If the knowledge was only dad's preferences in women, sure, mostly harmless. The damaging part of this would be the villianification sexual desire. You're telling someone that a normal part of having a body is wrong and you should feel shame for it. You're also thrusting the responsibility for the parent's impulses onto a minor.

I'm also not naive enough to believe that they had any serious, healthy discussions about sexual urges beforehand. This is the right, its just indoctrinating them onto the shame and guilt spiral as soon as possible.

What made it a franchise? Is every cartoon a "franchise" now because there could be merchandise? No, find something actually criticize or fuck off.

The edition I have has some excerpts from an interview he did way back in the day and he talks about how he had to produce different scripts for adaptations and how the story had evolved over time. His solution was when he had to change the script everyone either said the same things for different reasons or different things for the same reasons. It made it feel like the story was always kind of fluid for him.
