I refuse to listen to anyone saying this wouldn't work when we already have an example of it working in Australia.

That is not good enough. In fact, I would go so far as to say 22 to 27 hours is insultingly low. Phones used to last a fucking week without a charge. In my opinion, there has yet to be a feature on smartphones that I feel justifies the massive drop in battery life they've tried to pass off as "normal" now.

Assuming the proper licenses are obtained and maintained, which law exactly would come into play?

So Trump is starting a civil war? Because when you send troops to your own territory and call it a war, that's a civil war.

Long, long, LONG history of Americans rejecting socialism of any type, even in heavily liberal areas. And, from what I've seen, while he is leading in the polls, the majority of his support is from 18-29 year olds, which is a demographic that you can dependably rely on to not show up to vote. It's been the same story the last 1500 times these kinds of things have played out. Why the hell would it be any different this time?
