Slightly off topic, but I worry that this election has, amongst other things has turned into a referendum on Project 2025. So, the Democratic Party won't have a leg to stand on when it gets implemented in full. They can't really argue that the electorate was ignorant.

I remember similar being said about Beto O'Rourke. In the end he floundered on the rocks of Cruz's candacy.

At the risk of explaining a joke into the ground your comment has more than one reference. The UK's two main parties have their colors flipped. Labour's color is red.

Yeah, specifically when you consider Elon's troubling interference about the use of his Starlink during the Russo-Ukrainian war. Potentially hobbling the Ukrainians to the benefit of the Russians.

I think Sony never wanted a physical media PS5 console. The design made it seem like an after thought. Like a growth on the side of sleek lines.

How powerful a tool X is depends on how much legitimacy it can gain. If politicians are leaving the platform it can't be long before advertisers also leave. I'm old enough to remember Myspace. Even Facebook is a bit pacé nowadays.

That's the trouble with public service broadcasters, they are not immune from political interference.

Jeremy Corbyn got it right, rather than make the controller a political position make them accountable to a independent body. This should go some way to repairing the BBC's bias problem.

It won't happen though they are too good a propaganda outfit. Who for? The establishment. Whichever party is in power. So, you want to change the BBC? You need to change government.

And for those that advocate abolition, at least with the current system, you have one lever of power. Good luck in influencing Rupert Murdoch to sway his reporting.

it's kind of ironic, Tories shopping at a store run on market socialist grounds: worker co-op.

Also known as "a cycle of violence". Or " hurt people, hurt people" But at what stage is it someone's responsibility to break this most vicious of cycles?

I think you could just remove "trades" from that caption. Bloody prima donas.

While I'm no fan of the crippleware, I don't think this product from them would effect your average gamer. It looks to be focused on beta testers and reviewers.

But, knowing the human's facility for laziness, odds on it will filter into general release.
