PCI/GPU Passthrough is amazing.
Currently: Not for a user.
The only way to block at instance level is defederation which is usually a bit extreme.
This shouldn't be too complicated to handle at the user level, but someone would have to spend time to develop it and contribute to lemmy source code.
Likewise, there are specific instances for which I'd want to auto-sub to all current and future communities, which is also not a fair that exists (other than creating your account there and browsing "Local")
IMHO, Blocking at the user level is a feature that's relatively likely to happen eventually.
You're saying I'm she 30 and olup?

But find something that's different enough than your future job.
I mean... I troubleshoot network stuff for a living and coming home and doing puzzles would absolutely suck, as it's the same kind of stimuli (finding patterns).
Every job is different, and I burn out of different hobbies depending on what job I'm doing.

Any failure is a ban (I don't remember how long for).
I also ban every IP not from my country, adjusting that sometimes if I travel internationally.
It's much easier when you host stuff only for your devices (my case) and not for the larger public (like this lemmy instance).
After the self induced constipation, they'll need the poop knife for sure.
Honestly, a PC monitor and a separate device connected to it is probably much less bullshit.
Pihole is nice to have regardless of TVs.
Commercial displays are usually very overpriced, although if you can get a good deal that could be nice.
Not sure I'd "trust" any such menu.
