Ah, yes. Nintendo has definitely done evil on the level of... checks notes ...slavery.

Might want to reevaluate your list there.

usually TV has the more interesting story to tell.

Hard disagree. I have always thought that movies have had stronger stories due to the fact that they have a much more focused story to tell. TV shows have a lot more time to fill, which leads them to bringing in random B-plots that often end up as distractions from the main story rather than supporting detail. The investment that a TV show demands is often not worth it in my experience, because 9/10 times the show loses steam before they can tie up the plotlines I care about. For every Breaking Bad, there are a ton of Yellow Jackets, Westworlds, etc. I find it much easier to curate a list of movies than a list of shows.

You're getting a lot of retorts in response to your comment, but I 100% agree. Sure telling people happy cake day is fun the first few times, but it inevitably just becomes stale. One of the things that made reddit not enjoyable was people parroting the same phrases all over the site.

Depends on how much energy it takes. If it takes more resources than it frees, then I'd say it is not worth it.

How do you get AI to change its answer when one researcher discovers what was generally accepted as fact is no longer true?

Feels like you should use cocoa powder or instant coffee/espresso instead. Seems like you're trying to add bitterness, but the fact that the chocolate you are adding also has sugar, it is making things more challenging to balance.

Honestly don't understand this take. I am the "straight-edge" friend in my group, and I've always tagged-along regardless of whether they were smoking weed or drinking. You can always order a soda or a snack.

We do require a BS in computer science

The only scenarios where I'd think I wouldn't require one are

  1. I want cheaper labor
  2. I am really desperate to fill a position
  3. The skills I need in a candidate are incredibly niche, thus I want to widen the applicant pool.

#1 and #2 are indicative of other problems in your company. I get that you can be a good dev without a degree, but from an employer perspective, it seems like an easy way to save time and money on hiring. I am convinced that a lot of money is wasted on recruiters who throw everyone under the sun into the hiring process just so they can justify their existence.

The only practical purpose of such a cluster is educational purposes. Clusters as a whole are only useful for academics and researchers, so once you get into clusters using old hardware you're essentially only building the cluster for the sake of the challenge.

Saag/palak paneer is again, a sauce based dish but a lot more milder. Chana masala is also low on spice. Tandoori chicken is not sauce-based, but personally I don't get too excited about it. Biryani is again no sauce. The last order I had did have a lot of spice, but historically these have been milder than other Indian dishes for me. Certain types of dosas might be up your alley too. This is coming from someone not well versed in Indian food, so I am sure there are more.

open-world action game

It's amazing that devs are still crapping out games in this genre.

According to a friend of mine that is an employee, he shows up every now and then to throw a fit and go on firing-sprees.
