I would recommend using Matrix. But if you really want the "Discord experience" than I would suggest Revolt.

If I'm being honest, they deserve it. I played Overwatch 2 maybe 10 Times, the constant reminder that you aren't playing for fun, but for a totally original and new character or something very useful like a skin in the battle pass is quite annoying. The 5v5 was at first glance refreshing but got old at a rapid pace. Just play Team Fortress 2 if you're looking for a great shooter.
Steam and Spotify, I just can't get rid of them. I tried to download some music from YouTube, but the way to discover new songs is just way easier on Spotify than doing it yourself. Steam seems obvious, to play games, you should buy it, to thank the dev's.
Ubuntu. It' went from a great beginner distro to a dumpster fire filled with snaps and telemetry.
The best thing to do, is ignoring r/place. If we give reddit our attention they can continue, if not they're nothing.

There's a privacy-friendly Discord out there called Revolt. Honestly, though, it doesn't bug me if the chat is on Discord. I will not use it, even if it is on Matrix or Revolt.
The Tor Browser, it's just a normal Browser with some functionality to improve privacy.
I just like to experiment with Linux distros. I like to get into a problem and then fix it, even if it is really annoying. After solving a problem, it's satisfying to watch the Program or something like that run like a charm.
