I'm here. I left reddit for good, I don't even lurk it anymore.

Yes, absolutely. As of right now I have zero friends either online or offline. It's been that way for a while now.

Increasing social anxiety, especially among younger generations. Even with all these different social media platforms many people including me find it difficult to communicate irl. Some people find it easier to communicate online as opposed to offline as some people may act bolder, feel less vulnerable, and particularly in my case be able to convey their thoughts and articulate themselves more effectively than irl. I have more time to think and piece together word by word what I want to say. It also helps that the internet makes it easier for people to find more like minded people so that they may express themselves more freely. I also notice a disconnect between my online and offline interactions as I'm more likely to initiate online than offline and I'm more talkative.

No. Imo, as long as both parties are consenting adults then I don't see the issue. Tbh, I thought society would be more progressive in regards to this by now.

Hobby clubs, fitness groups, volunteering, specific interest events. Personally, I plan to attend more local events. There are some upcoming local events that pique my interests.

Pc gaming. I started off with a refurbished HP omen, but now I'm wanting something more. I'm aiming for a custom built and that has led me to the discovery of companies like Digital Storm, System 76, and Falcon Northwest.

Torrenting and data hoarding are also hobbies of mine. Every so often I'll buy an external hard drive once I max out the storage on a current one. One hard drive failed a while back and now I'm looking for data recovery companies, but their services are a bit pricey.

In my past I used to take on janitorial or maintenance jobs, but the grossness of the job combined with the attitude of the general public just made it unbearable. People would ask me if I was a citizen and when I said yes, they'd tell me that it's a job for immigrants. They'd also say that it's a job for slaves and ask if I felt like a slave doing that kind of work.

More climate refugees, more crop failures due to worsening climate change, more deaths due to climate change

I'm subbed to YT premium, Spotify, and Amazon Prime. I primarily use Steam. I pirate via torrents for movies and series. No streaming services interest me. I've used a free trial for Netflix way back when and I was disappointed that some content was not available to download for offline viewing. With torrenting I can watch content in a better quality, I don't have to worry about buffering, I don't have to worry about discs and menus, etc. All I really want is just the mkv file and that's it.

I miss YouTube Vanced, it had better UI and more features than the official app. I pay for premium and I like it and all, but I wish they could've adopted some features from Vanced instead of monetizing previously free features such as background play.

I'd say it depends on the country, I could understand if the country's military is a self defense force like Japan's military for example. In my particular context, I live in US and I hope to see that conscription never happens again, we have an insatiable military industrial complex and war machine. We have 800 military bases in more than 70 countries and territories abroad, we even have one in Syria near the oil fields and we were never invited there. Plus we have a long history of interventions that have gone awry, including the more recent ones like Libya back in 2011, we made the situation even worse. All conscription would do is just serve our imperialism.

We've been living in a dystopia for a very long time now, we're just becoming more aware to it.
