  1. That makes no sense.
  2. Vanadium have a different approach than trying to block it , blend in instead.
  3. Gecko based browser have crap sandboxing
  4. Again if you have 1 problem adding 1 more makes 2 problems.

I take it as more supportive action and organization should be made. If everyone at YouTube music, heck YouTube or Google in whole were to go on strike and say hire them. Issue would soon be rectified.

Well sms-man works fine

You don't need a sim to get a verification code. Here is a service I use https://sms-man.com/?ref=qPLi0ekHzn_c but plenty of free ones if you got the time to test 20 non working numbers to find one that works. Just Google temporary SMS or recieve SMS online

Then get a fake number

I'm no expert but webview is used anytime remote content is loaded I believe. Certainly you can open links in FF but webview is always there , and not so obvious things always load that way. Webview is baked inte the OS itself. No matter how much you degoogle. Bromite had another webview based on chrome but that's all the alternative that exist as far as I know.

Chromium is still Foss. Google might have a stink and definitely tries to influence on the Foss part. But when it comes to vanadium I have no question about that everything is under a magnifying glass.

As I wrote elsewhere , all projects have their place and I do use FF, just not on android. I would be really happy if FF on mobile would be able to compete but I don't see that happening until we have full Linux phones (that actually does everything android does)

If you have 1 problem (chrome) and you add another problem (Firefox ) how many problems do you have?

And I can't get any reference to anyone calling Firefox a scam?

Your the one defending Nazis. And you hold your foul mouth shut when they were ethnic cleansing eastern Ukraine but I guess they don't get the same defense from you. Thank Russia for saving them from your side.

Most are talking about the laptops. I have my eyes on a Mac mini to run asahi on. The biggest downsides with Mac hardware is reperability and upgrades. Some issues the Mac mini doesn't have Vs laptops is ofc is no battery replacement , screen and keyboard webcam, mouse to use. and there are hubs for installing more storage. Ram is ofc a big minus. Looking at m2 16 GB 512 mb. And extend storage with something like this https://www.macworld.com/article/1677460/mac-mini-upgrade-hub-storage-ethernet-sd-card-ports.html 40 Gbs thunderbolt would make it easy to extend storage at least.

As long as it doesn't break I would take this over any alternative minipc . I use my ThinkPad today but 99% of use is at home anyway so no need for portability. Need to wait some time to get the extra funds for it but something like that..

Yea , that is more a 3rd world country way. Most countries do not remove basic rights besides you freedom when jailing them. Can't think of any examples actually.
