Glad you noticed, I was going for a grave/door ambiguity while invoking the classic light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel motif.
I guess it's close to impossible to find medieval armor reference that hasn't already made it into a dark souls game :D
The stance may be weird in real life, but I really like your take on it and the dramatic lightning is A++!
It's simple, yet breaks my brain in the weirdest of ways. I like it.
Wake up babe, new goat just dropped!
(Love it, keep it up!)
Thank you for your kind words and taking time to leave such a thoughtful comment. Much appreciated!
Awesome, I love how neat the linework and shading are! Also the strong colors in the reflected light really push the whole drawing even further.
Me, and I haven't posted it before today! 😅 Though I'm sure there's similar work out there.
I want to boop its eyestalks to see if it retracts like a snail's.
Thank you! I was initially aiming for a fleshed out landscape but fell in love with the rough composition and colors. I've added the wanderers to give a sense of scale, but feel like they almost tell a story in their own right.
Not intentional when I started, but I kinda went with the aesthetic as I went along :)
Loving all the little details you put in, wonderful work!
