A 2nd Civil War already...

Astagfurallah.

I will never forgive the west for what they've done to Syria. They've left a nation which was at one point a shining beacon within the region into a fractured state that will take decades to recover.

I curse the US, I curse Israel, I curse Jolania along with his fundamentalist filth, and I curse Bashar for his incompetence in letting this happen.

I can only hope for a light at the end of this which I do not yet see, but until then the situation in Syria causes my blood to boil.

I'm convinced Newsome is the next candidate. And unfortunately he's exactly what liberals want so they won't budge about his election at all.

I disagree that the dems are finished simply because I don't think Americans are gonna support any alternative parties within the next 4 years.

I'd say the Dems are finished in a couple more cycles but not quite yet. There's enough liberal true believers that still exist who will make it their mission to tank alternatives to the dems rather then combat Republicans.

It was a very funny interaction I must admit.

That's partially why I believe that Lebanon will not fall. Nasrallah was a visionary of a resistance fighter, but he inspired millions through giving his life to the struggle as a martyr. Now I'm sure that dozens if not hundreds or thousands of those inspired will go on to even surpass Nasrallah's legacy.

I can't imagine the Lebanese government choosing to try and wage a war on Hezboallah on the behalf of Israel. It would be a stupid decision to say the least, as I can imagine that Hezboallah now has the popular support to supplant the Lebanese government if it ever decides to completely subjugate itself to the west.

Lebanon should realize that no matter what stupid conspiracy they make up about being Phoenician or how much they denounce the rest of the MENA savage hordes, they will always just be a bunch of "dirty Arabs" to Israel and the west as a whole.

Solidarity is a matter of survival at this point. They don't have the luxury of petty nationalism against an entity whose existence relies on their eradication. However I believe there's a far an away enough Lebanese who understand this fact, especially those who suffer the consequences of Israeli aggression.

I don't concede the point. I used to but for the reasons stated above I've stopped, and tried to get other people in my community to follow that decision as well.

A lot of anti-regime Iranian diaspora also say that "The mullahs have sold out yo the US" and believe that the two countries are working together... for some reason.

I've been recommended Palo Alto before by fellow Californian comrades. Any suggestions on where to obtain it?

This is what years of sectarianism and takfiri funding bring you. It's absolutely batshit the stories many Arabs will tell you about Iran. I'm half Persian and half Arab, yet the level of delusion some Arabs have towards Iran and by extension Shiites, is almost impressive. Like the level of hatred they feel for a perceived enemy who they assume is trying to inperialize the region surpasses all expectations. How these people feel such a debilitating scorn against Iran compared to Turkey and even the Ottomans is baffling.

Although It's not like there aren't many Iranian who can't see past there own inconsistent nationalism, and consistently belittle Arabs for little to no reason. Being part of a family that has access to both communities is definitely a interesting experience.
