I would think that China will never sign it, because I think this would be swiftly weponized against China(as you've said) with claims of genocide in Xinjiang and human rights violations in Tibet and all the same old westen song and dance, so I feel they'll just run things their way, plus they don't need this PR right now I'd wager, I think they are moving well towards their goals without the need to expose themselves to this kind of attack. So overall I don't think they gain a lot doing it and stand to lose a bit, plus this PR you say is validation by the western powers, and I don't think China is too worried with that validation as it's much more worried with presenting themselves as an alternative to the western powers to the global south, so being more connected to them does them not too many favors

That's why they're trying to make data centers abroad, like at least here in Brazil, I know data centers are not exactly computing centers but I think it's somewhat possible to convert once it's properly set up

Yeah I think we are in agreement comrade, I just like to point out this things when I see a post on the subject because I've seen far too much people associate any attempt of improving the now (from the part of any socialist individual or organization) with a commitment with a inherently reformist agenda, so I like to leave the more expanded idea when I see a short communication about it, just to promote the broader vision a little

Easy there it's not correct to say it is nothing but a distraction, if you make it the focus of your project for sure, but however possible we should try to make the changes possible that would help the working class, but of course that does not mean to adhere to their program but it is important to look at what improvements can be achieved. But never celebrating these folks as heroes or celebrating as a magnificent win it is a small comfort but far from the cure, and can distract, but can bring about some degree of help, the important part is to know that however much help that is, it's always woefully insufficient. But help should never be discarded completely, even if ultimately in many cases we refuse the instances of incrementalism it's important to know that it comes with a cost, because much of the people who would benefit a little right now, cannot see the possibility of a revolution ever working, but they want some improvement, in such case being against incrementalism can have a very significant impact on gathering support of who we most need on our side.

It's news if we do not suspect such a thing

It's not the dogs fault, they didn't have a say in the matter

The one about revolution that says, "It will come, and it will bring bread, but also poetry", is quite inspired as well. Trot had his moments, and he must be respected by his work on the revolutionary and I believe the Russian "civil" war, as a general, which he was and for what I know a competent one. It's important to remember the figure as a whole, even though he deserved every bit of the pickaxe

Yeah Vargas is a tricky subject because in one hand he fucked the communists over, but on the other he promoted incredible advances for the working class, so he is complicated

It's missing the Vietnam war the Korean war, cointelpro(in the USA) operation gladio in Italy (was not a massive death toll but prevented communists to be elected in Italy). And in Brazil there was another one under president Vargas that instituted the task force of communist hunting, that preceeds operation condor as well

I have no illusion that macklemore is a communist but man, he deserves credit especially considering his size to lend his platform to a message like this is quite amazing. This song really touched me.
