Sadly, I don't think so. Searching about that I found out they switched to GTK3 interface being default just before GTK4 was released... And making the switch from GTK2 took a long time.

I would think to be compliant with regulation you should effectively be able to install an alternative on your device? Which I believe is possible since there is a firefox on iOS. Even though as far as I know all browser on iOS are powered by the same underlying engine.
It may be available but there is no more development and GitHub repo has been archived in 2021. I believe it was because you could do what uMatrix does with ublock but I can't find Gorhill statement from back then.
As far as I know there is no limit on the number of devices you can sync. So yes it is possible to sync a folder on multiple devices and not only 2.
Don't understand in what linking to a random collection would be better than creating your own. Especially a huge one with a lot of extension not conceived / working for mobile.
I feel like author should have explained how to do your own collection and how to add it. Only afterward pointing out you could add a collection from someone else and suggest some lists would have been nice.
All latest commits are mainly translation updates. If you ignore those it feels like there is no more commits. Or I am not looking where I should?
