Some old features I would like to see in Mc today

This is a post to brainstorm some ideas about the game and what it could have been. I'll start by listing some old features that I really liked:
- As I mentioned in my previous post, isometric screenshots. They just look good.
- The old smelting system. It was only in indev version 0.31. You would smelt iron by using flint and steel to ignite a fire in which you would then drop the iron ore onto the fire, producing iron ingots. It was definitely faster and more "atmospheric" than the current way of smelting in my opinioni even though it was simpler.
- The saturation of Alpha and below, it makes the simplest places look nice.
- Indev world types.
What are your opinions and ideas?
And the worse thing is, because the internet is so centralized now (dominated by just a few companies) people have almost nowhere to go back to. The worst thing tho, is how a lot of people simply don't care. They would rather keep the very slight convenience they have over getting rid of these corrupt companies.
Basically saying that lemmy and 4chan are the rivals of popular social media sites like reddit and X in terms of their policies and philosophies. The meme likens lemmy and 4chan to Guy Fawkes and V.

It does not because %99 of people that encounter this post probably doesn't care if minecraft worlds are actually infinite or not.
Does it matter?
Ant Venom's videos on far lands do a great job explaining. There are also some side content like some creepypasta videos I believe, though they are generally uninteresting.

I know but notch himself called them "infinite" which is why I worded it like that. And they are practically infinite so does it matter enough to comment about it?
You do know what sorts of shit redditors put up with right? They will choose to "protest" like on r/place but they will probably forget about it 3 days later.
Reddit is a part of peoples lives now. Just like how people don't leave twitter, instagram, facebook and all those other sites even after all of the bad shit people like zuckerberg and elon musk did to them, they won't leave reddit.

Minecraft Indev version had a feature called "isometric screenshots" which took an isometric screenshot of your world. Because the world wasn't infinite at that time, it took the screenshots easily. It still can be done in modern minecraft hovewer, with some plugins.

The new system certainly discourages strip mining, which is bad because it is one of the best ways to relax and also get rewarded in minecraft.
