The filling and sterile-sealing process in the factory is just as bad, so we already drank a bunch of microplastics the first time. At my age I'm mostly plastics, insecticides, lead and asbestos. When the alien bug people come, feed me to them first, maybe they'll die.

That's not true of most schools or most rains. I not only grew up in SoCal I also taught here, and only got two "rain days" in that entire time.

The bottles are very sturdy and even survive my dishwasher, although sometimes the rim/lid connection is a little wobbly afterwards. I don't care, because at that point it's only water, sunshine will dry it. If you just fill it with fresh water without washing, the water has a hint of the old flavor which can be nice too.

Or stevia-and-monkfruit water if it's Zero Sugar, with an assortment of vitamins listed as ingredients.

No it's a jacket and umbrella.

Well of course it's not, there's no excuse. Gaetz is a predator who exploited and raped her, full stop.

Like I said I'm not excusing either Gaetz or the US. I also wonder whether she would have been more comfortable leaving her teeth crooked if she weren't in the US, unless it caused health or eating issues.

But it's here on Lemmy, and in years past on the other place, where I have heard people's frustration about teeth being separated as "luxury bones" under even the best healthcare systems. It goes back through history, separate schools, but the more we learn the more obvious it seems that dental care is healthcare.

From what I've read and heard, many poor people just don't get any dental care, whatever country they're in.

I wish for her sake she'd been able to find an orthodontia school where she could have gotten her braces from a student under the supervision of a professor.

Not Melania but for some of the girls Trump was the supplier

Happy fuzzy girl! Also barn cat

I completely agree. That said, a little lip balm while you're in the waiting room can help with the chapping.

I have an old Chromebook (yes yes there's my problem I know) that I basically only use to do the NYT puzzles with my spouse over lunch. Occasionally the cat jumps up, and sometimes her feet hit groups of keys... Yesterday she moved the bar from the bottom to the left side. I can't figure out how to fix it. Click/drag doesn't work, neither right nor left clicks in the bar do anything at all. The cat didn't drag, just stepped on several keys. It's still usable, just irritating. I've tried restarting, even let it update. Suggestions?

And occasionally bites

It's not a crazier idea than most of Kennedy's. Someone should do a study. Or make one up, nobody checks anymore.

Using centripetal force puts it in trebuchet territory does it not?

Seems to me, calling the GOP the Right Wing contributes to their delusions of grandeur and self-righteousness. The fact it's only supposed to be "sitting on the right-hand side of the room" is lost in deliberate ignorance. Looking for a more accurate label. If you don't like these two choices you're welcome to ring in with your suggestions. Since other countries have their own versions of a Right Wing, ranging from something equivalent to the US Democratic Party to full-on fascism, y'all are welcome to weigh in on those as well.
