I have voted twice a year, ever year, for the entire time I've been old enough. That said, I really can't remember the last time I actually expected any meaningful change from it... Electoralism is a bandaid at best, and a distraction at worst. At least in the U.S., maybe it's different elsewhere.
cnckitchen did a pretty good comparison of different gitd filaments. There's a video on their channel too.
I don't remember if the comparison covered this, but I would expect PETg to work better than PLA for gitd stuff because it's inherently more transparent, right?
Oh no... Literally everyone I know feels this way. That's probably not a great sign lol
Oooh I didn't know about this! Does it have a search engine?
EDIT: oh I see there is! Shoulda clicked through before asking lol
This is so depressing... I'd been seeing it in effect but I didn't know all the context. We need more and better alternative search engines, like Stract.
EDIT: Actually, are any of the searXNG instances including Stract yet?
I'm loving the creativity here! To me though, "uncommon" implies that it's not like completely unheard of either. so, my choice would be "Midge"
Thanks, this was really informative! I've only been on the viewer side of Peertube, but I'm a fan for sure. From that perspective, another thing is that I really wish there was a better app for it. Thorium hasn't been updated in ages, and it's super glitchy.
where I work, we ocassionally put stuff like this in a vibratory tumbler for post processing. it's finicky to get all the parameters just right from one material to the next, but when it works it's AMAZING.
well, since taste is subjective and you're looking for an objective measure, I'm just going to judge on other grounds! I suspect that the vanilla industry is less bad for the environment and has a better track record with labor violations, so vanilla is better.
Now, I didn't research that first, and I could definitely be wrong... but at least it's something one can actually be wrong about.
The only times you have an opportunity to deadname or misgender yourself is when you're referring to yourself in the third person. When you do that, it's usually because you're thinking from the perspective of someone else, right?
At least for myself, I've noticed a correlation between how other people (on average) are referring to me and how I am mentally referring to myself. I don't think misgendering/deadnaming yourself is reflective of how you see you, it's reflective of how you think the world sees you.
That's just my hypothesis though, could be wrong.
I would guess it's a Hyphantria cunea nest, Fall Webworm. They're harmless, neat things
I do! We have them where I live and this has happened to me too lol. I like to consider it a sign of trust that they're willing to get that close to me, even though it's more likely they're just kind of oblivious. Although, they do have the best eyesight of any centipede... so who knows!
