First: I'm new to Lemmy and only kinda familiar with Alpine so please forgive me (and guide me in the right direction) if this isn't the best place to ask questions.
On to my question, now:
I have Ly installed on a fresh sys install with sway. Everything except Ly and a few basics like nano came straight from setup-alpine so Wayland is running fine and sway runs with the basic command.
My problem is that I'm seeing little to no Alpine guides for it so I'm following Arch/Gentoo with some adjustments for Alpine and everything works except for the part where I have to disable agetty service.
Alpine is preconfigured with the Busybox version with agetty being an optional replacement (not using it so far, can switch if needed). This, of course, means that the normal tty login and Ly are both running simultaneously in a weird way that is documented in the Gentoo/Arch guides.
Tldr; tty and Ly login clashing. Need to disable getty service for tty2 that doesn't seem to exist on Alpine.
I can't figure out how to manage this step on this system. Anyone here successfully run Ly on Alpine that could give me a little insight into this problem? As always, thanks in advance!
I'm guessing GPT is for practicing your English skills because I also did this for my Spanish. Of course, that was back when I still used Google and Apple services. I'm going to try ollama, myself, but this use case is pretty specific so I wouldn't expect an easy switch
