Man telling people you love an art piece called “untitled” really paints a clear picture of what it is in their minds
If you want to paint a clear picture of what a painting is in other people's minds, you should show it to them instead of just mentioning the title. If I told people my favorite painting of all time was the 1903 piece "Goodbye" by Wassily Kandinsky, would that paint a clear picture of what it is in their minds?
i support numbering the art for referencing, but i'm also a big fan of artists choosing not to name their works because that'd leave the viewers with a greater freedom for interpretation. they'd have to be more abstract for this to make sense though.
