When I try opening remote viewer on a computer with display scaling it scales the opposite way to what it's supposed to, making the image smaller rather than larger.

.vv files will also try to open with kate from Firefox, even though the system default application is set correctly as it works fine from a file manager.

This is on CachyOS with KDE.

Have you heard of FreeBSD or Haiku? You could become even more extreme than us Linux users. Think about it!

I know what that is don't worry. In fact I come under the same label after Aspergers was discontinued

Both. Any resources I can point such people towards would be useful too.

I've come to know a number of people who show lots of neurodivergent traits but who aren't necessarily autistic or otherwise neurodivergent, or are but only just cross the border. Do we have specific terms, research, or anything towards these types of people. I know at one point there was the term BAP (Broad Autism Phenotype), but this sounds very clinical. It's also personally been unusual to deal with as I can't really treat them like I would any other autistic person, or like a neurotypical.

DSM also thought being gay was a mental disorder. Caving to pressure is sometimes a good thing.

That's the spirit!

Since both support Genocide I don't think it's fair to say it's nazis vs non-nazis. It's more like genocide over there vs genocide maybe here and there. That's assuming that the Republicans will actually go full authoritarian dictatorship which isn't necessarily going to happen. A lot of people are speculating that things will happen that didn't last time Trump was in charge. It definitely could happen, but I don't think it's as likely as people are making out. Trump would have to convince all of the keys to power to abandon democracy, and that hasn't happened yet. He is already getting push back for certain things, not to mention braking up with Elon.

Anyway I sure am glad I don't live in the USA. Although honestly my own country is having its own issues. The supposedly left wing party seem to have decided they have the same level of support for trans people that the right wing one does, or at least their leader is willing to follow the conservatives on that issue. I almost regret voting for him now.

I hadn't considered that. I can't say I know much of the struggles of lesbians.

If the mother is so bad and abusive then why is your wife helping her? I think the sister did the right thing here. The state has mechanisms to take care of the elderly for good reasons.

No one is saying women don't have it rough. The difference is one gender is being pushed out of society, the other is being pushed under it. Men are basically encouraged to give up and go away, maybe commit suicide or go fight in a war. Women are encouraged to find a "man" and become some tradwife who has no agency. Neither is a good thing, but don't pretend they aren't different.
