Congrats on the move. I did the same to Linux Mint and have loved the experience completely. Gaming has been amazing due to Proton and Vulcan.

Yeah that's what I meant by clever naming. I guess I was reading too deep. I thought it was referencing more.

Thank you for this. I had no idea this occurred.

Started playing Fallout 76 for the first time this week. Been having fun so far. I'm glad I waited for the game to get this far in content.

This news shouldn't be a shock to anyone. Ubuntu is just doing what they've been doing all along, and that is trying to push they're snap packages.

As long as distros give people the option/ability to install in other ways I don't see a problem. Now if Ubuntu out right banned any other way to install apps that would be big news.

A commodore 64 joystick. Next was the NES controller.

I third that motion. Doing similar with a T440p. I've spent $400 total between upgrading the CPU to a 4712 and putting 16g of RAM. Running WoW happily every night on Debian. Second hand Thinkpads are the way to go.

My mother did. She also had a dirt floor one room elementary school. Grew up in the US south.

Now I noticed the donations link to Lemmy but is their one for Pawb. I know to run this server isn't free. Is there anyway as a community we can donate to help keep this up?

I need more to have a better idea what this will be, but my first reaction is I'm worried for it. What's your reaction to this?
