Musk, Bezos, Zuck, Page ruined the internet for us. That's who to blame

He's set to come to Scotland for those who don't know. Starmer and the King all in attendance. Never a better place to protest on the world it seems!

Activists from Stop Trump Coalition, a group of campaigners from across the UK "determined to resist Trump and Trumpism", have called the mass demonstration for the first day of Trump's visit, Wednesday, September 17.

The protest will assemble at London’s Embankment at 2pm and march to a rally at 5pm in an as-yet-unconfirmed location.

Funnily enough the BBC and STV aren't reporting on the protests. I'm sure Scottish rallies will be announced closer to the time when more details of the itinerary are known

A trip to the final is well worth a Saturday for any sports fans! Semis are usually live on BBC Alba too

Poor form from Farrell to call up yet more players imo. Even 3 scots. Makes a bit of a mockery of a tour

And how about those zonal pricing reforms Ed? Don't talk to me about betrayal

[–] Olap@lemmy.world 1 points 19 hours ago

Yup, I've had to go back to old books for the recipe to prepare them

It was already derelict? Why left to just rot and collapse? Someone should be facing criminal charges about buildings falling down in a city!

Heard about this in a pub the other night. So I am glad to see a report and share it. A very good candidate for base loads in the future

Dessert mostly, berries galore! Even a few gooseberries this year. Neighbour gave me some red currants I turned into a pink lemonade. Tatties going to salads. Herbs for everything. Plums I thinned hard this year to hopefully see a smaller yet bigger crop. Apples going great again, last year I turned loads into apple and bramble jam. And loads of crumbles. And I fancy rowan jelly this year for the first time, and lavender chicken is a thing. I even had some dandelion leaves in my salad, and I fancy some nettles in a broth. You can even make sticky willy tea, but I haven't been brave enough yet. Don't eat the foxgloves though. Gardens are surprisingly edible

Well done to Wales ending an 18 test losing streak. Not a record to be taken lightly!

Ten :) A very nice milestone. A lot can happen in ten years!

10 hours is hefty. No overtime provision in my place, so if I ever have to do it: I get it back instead. Love a free Monday off

Probably anyway. Out past Aberfeldy off the A9. I'm sure it's worth a visit

Don't believe Tom and the headline. This was a confident win still. And Australia will need a hell of a lot more

Bowfin if you ask me, but hooray for tweed: it's a great material and should be excellent for trainers

That rugby gets pints but football doesn't is frankly undefendable, so here's to Ayr getting it right with this pilot

Great to see this recovered, and what a tragedy to read about. Hopefully it does a little tour with all the photos mentioned
