I listened to the first book as a 30 hr audio book, was very boring and i watched like the first hour of the first film

Ah ok, what you say sounds good but the first one was so boring, that im scared to waste another 60 hours hearing the rest

I have no idea what that means, i'm german and only heard the first one (translatet its something like "the followers" i guess it could be fellowship of the ring and is return of the king 1 2 or 3?
