Congrats mate! Thank you for all your hard work on maintaining this little piece of the internet for us!

Thanks for the reply mate!

I didn't think to mess with z-hop - I'll give that a go, and I'll do some testing to make sure the Bowden is seated correctly and the wipe on retract is actually happening - thanks!

The print in the image is a 'torture test', and just something I had on hand to illustrate the issue. I'm actually not fussed if there is still some stringing at the top, but other detailed prints were getting it pretty bad, including retraction towers.

There are problems with these articles, and it almost always comes down to scale. There currently isn't the scale and infrastructure to bring the cost of hydrogen to make it cost effective compared to pure electric. With time that could change if there is a will to do so.

But regardless, as I mentioned in my other comment, hydrogen has a much better use case in large scale transport. Trains and ships, for example, where volume isn't a problem and where the weight of batteries becomes untenable. This is, I think, where hydrogen will be viable.

The union is absolutely right. It's bad enough we have to rely on a charity to run our ambulances, but reducing funding further will absolutely cost lives.

This is one hell of a slippery slope.

  • Hate speech law would also be ruled out, with work on it stopped

Can we get a clamp down on medical advertising while we're at it?

It's my opinion that anyone who thought about upzoning logically for two minutes would come to the conclusion that it is necessary to substantially increase housing supply without also needing to substantially increase infrastructure. I'm glad to see the results are starting to be noticed.

Absolutely. Add to that some of the interviews saying there isn't that much traffic on these roads anyway, and that induced demand is a real thing, you have a transport policy which will add nothing to the economy of NZ except for the contractors.

Time will tell how this plays out, but overall I think this is a good thing. IMHO NZ needs to diversify its export portfolio, so to speak, and be less reliant on a single large market (i.e. China). This should lead to more economic resilience, which can only be a good thing in this fairly volatile time.
