Bottles is a very convenient way of managing individual wine prefixes. With its GUI it's very easy to install dependencies and change settings. I can highly recommend checking it out. I use it not just for programs, but also games as it's just easier to use than having to use winetricks.

And yet cats kill billions of birds each year. Wild.
I like that they both use the same operator.
Same. Not that I do advanced stuff, but KRunner is often good enough.
Det er godt at høre. Altså, ikke at det er dyrt at bygge, men at det bliver taget seriøst for nye boliger.

Or rather, win him a super yacht
Haha, one of the comments on that article is just:
Recession indicator.
.. And I think they're right. 😭
This is where you point out to whomever banned you that:
You can upvote posts that you like so that more users will see them, or downvote posts so that they are less likely to be seen.
Nowhere does it say anything about how to vote, except for later on the page:
Lemmy attempts to limit the visibility of votes to protect user privacy. But due to the way Lemmy works, votes cannot be completely private. Instance admins can see the names of everyone who voted on a given post or comment, and community moderators can see the names for the communities they moderate. This helps to fight against vote manipulation.
They don't explain what "vote manipulation" is.
But if an admin saw you were downvoting most posts, then that's probably why you got banned. I just don't downvote stuff unless I feel like it doesn't belong, or if someone isn't actively contributing.
Or maybe they saw multiple users from the same IP as you downvoting a lot of posts.
Until 2021 when I got my new PC, I still had a bluray/cd/dvd burner, although I don't recall ever using it for burning anything. I guess that era is finally getting laid to rest.
Also, way back when it was a requirement to burn CD's and DVD's in order to install operating systems like linux, I don't ever recall using a CD-RW disc. I guess I thought of them a bit like potions in skyrim where by the end of the game I end up with hundreds of them and then never using them when I really needed to.
Like Cypher said in The Matrix: "Ignorance is bliss".
Jeg ved ikke hvorfor jeg læste overskriften som "Togdirektør". Men godt for hende at sige fra. Det er noget mange af X' ansatte jo ikke bare kan, altså dem med H-1B visa.
If I had money to spend on FOSS projects, this is definitely one of the ones I'd support. I likely will from next month onwards.
