We should use the chopping block on him, and repurpose his wealth to fund government programs. Especially for repaying federal employees for this shitshow.

There is no point in capping fiber speeds. Either that capacity is in use or it isn't. It isn't like water, where a resource is depleted from usage.

Aside from that, I agree with your concept of the government providing all the essentials. Capitalism is great for providing products that suit a person's individuality, but it sucks at ensuring the survival and wellbeing of people.

Alright. Then the Magna Carta, American constitution, and European constitutions never happened.

You are shutting down the very concept of people talking about possible solutions. "It can't happen, because it is hard." People have to talk, exchanging ideas on theory and implementation, the promise of supporting each other, and eventually a real thing emerges.

Hm. Maybe I should buy Trump and Musk "We did that." stickers, and add them to price tags while shopping? After all, they shut down the agencies meant to control bird flu, meat inspection, and so many other things...

I have been converting my life savings into Euros. I expect all currencies to lose value due to America imploding, but I expect the American Dollar to become a Weimer scenario: Burned for fuel, and wagons of cash stolen, minus the cash. If Muskcoin X Everything becomes a thing, I want my finances to be aligned with democracies in Europe, not Fascist America.

I think that the fundamental flaw of our economies, is that they weren't created with rules in the first place. We just took the vague notions of trade and coinage, then began to add the rules after the fact. What if we did a hard reboot, but with an economic Constitution to guide the economic system?

For such a system, I believe we would want three things at the most basic level:

1: Transparent and simple rules. Ordinary people should be able to easily identify and troubleshoot the excessively wealthy.

2: Universal but boring benefits that guarantees survival for everyone, with a basic income. Money is for buying upgrades to lifestyle, not survival. Jobs are for affording to buy more expensive luxuries, like vacations to a foreign land, attending the theatre regularly, and so forth.

3: Absolute floors and ceilings on income, assets, and wealth. Beyond a specific point, wealth is taken as tax.

I guess that Musk and Trump will be fashionable names in underworld Mexico a decade from now. You can't go much lower than these two. "I am sending Trump across the border to smuggle ketamine to Musk."

The 1st Amendment is freedom of speech, the 2nd regards the right to bear arms. #2 was created by the Founding Fathers, in recognition that someday America will have at least one tyrant rising up. An monopoly on violence is one of the greatest powers a state can have over their citizens, so an armed citizenry is both a warning and an contingency: "Don't hurt us, and we won't hurt you."

Considering that abundance of arms in America, the opening of the Bullet Box would be very problematic for Trump and company.
