Just for context, I’m speaking from personal experience. I’m a 21M and I’ve had five procedures so far - double eyelid surgery, a nose job, jaw shaving, cheekbone reduction, and genioplasty - basically the standard East Asian beauty package. I’m honestly really happy with how I look, but even I sometimes catch myself thinking, “What if I just tweaked a few more things?”

I see people all the time who seem to go overboard with surgery, and it makes me wonder - what is it about plastic surgery specifically that makes it feel so addictive?

Kinda wondering how long it’ll be before they tell us Chinese to leave too. I’ve got one year left to finish my bachelor’s - hopefully not before then. 😭
