Nintendo would need to prove that you had and ran the tools locally which is damn near impossible to do. I could create a commit without even opening the solution or compiling it.
It would also put Nintendo up shit creek by turning the entire FOSS community against them.
Some earrings look incredible and some look...artistic, putting it nicely. Like with clothes, clothes that look good on one person do not look good on everyone. Of course there is also personal preference.
When it comes down to it though I do not think many women wear earrings to make them look pretty. They wear it to give themselves confidence, and I want to encourage and support this behavior whenever possible, even if it goes against my personal aesthetic (that is not to say I dislike earrings - this mostly applies to tattoos for me).
There has been legal precedent that terms of use are not legally binding since they don't expect customers to read it before clicking the I Agree button. They have made the agreements so long and put them in everything that they concluded there is no possible way anybody would ever read all of it for everything.
Ive come to feel lately that the war isn't two sided. The war is raging between science, religion, and ethics. People will argue against science because of dubious ethics that are unrelated to religion. They will ignore scientific evidence because it goes against their moral compass.
Science is cold and uncaring. It will always be at odds against people who live their lives following their heart.
If you are ever wanting to support someone do NOT start a sentence with "Maybe you are just". It comes off as trivializing the thing you are discussing.

The game was super jank but I remember it really fondly. I play the GOG version at least once a year. I am really excited to hear this news, but I will keep my expectations in check.

As others have said, the entire lemmy.ml instance skates on thin ice. While the people on it are generally ok the admins have a clear agenda and are not afraid to suppress ideas and discussions that do not adhere to their ideology. I always triple check any news or political posts that come from that instance.
