I live in Nebraska and I feel the same way. I go out and vote in every election because that's my civic duty, if the majority of people in your area with our same feeling actually went out and vote it is possible to become a swing state.

That being said my personal opinion is if you don't vote you forfeit your right to complain about politics. You didn't voice your opinion when it was important, so you shouldn't voice it when it's not.

Edit: spelling

LMFAO! I had a feeling he was conservative. It don't know about a terrible shot, he got damn close but if his school had a shooting club he was probably still better than someone untrained but could still be bad enough not to make the team. Like when I got cut from golf, a no cut sport, half way through the first day

I don't care about the reason for this post. I just want to say, this is my personal favorite scene/s of 'Malcom in the Middle'. Lois, the hard ass, no nonsenses, authoritarian mother in a moment of vulnerability and her 4 otherwise defiant sons band together to defend their mom by destroying the family reunion.

I wish I could be such a good son

Edit: my wife corrected my spelling, grammar, ect. I love her dearly (shhhh she's reading over my shoulder)

My running theory is he is a moderate republican who, after January 6th, realized Trump is going to kill democracy. He donated shortly after, but with the recent uncertainty decided solve the problem with his own hands. Unfortunately, he made a rookie mistake and held his breath instead of breathing out before taking the shot, didn't properly sight in his scope, and / or just choked.

I'm not in anyway supporting any form of violence let alone an assassination attempt on a former president. This is not the way to conduct democracy, there are much better ways to address the current issues. I am merely trying to point out why he was so close but still missed his target as if it were a paper target not a living being who, regardless of transgressions, doesn't deserve to have their life taken from them.

Criticism is welcome and appreciated

My foreman would always say "Love my job" in a happy tone after anything bad happened on a job site. The happier the tone, the worse it was

As a citizen of Nebraska, this is bullshit. This rule was one of a handful of things I liked about living here. While yes the state is blue eyed red fish, and this rarely changes how our votes swing, the fact that the state would listen to the actual people in our voting districts if we chose a non republican candidate was nice. Felt like we actually had a say, like my vote actually mattered. If they repeal this I'll still vote, just with an even more upset sigh everytime.

This is clearly a gun that causes who ever you shoot to time travel to the date of your choosing. They arrive unharmed except for the gun shot wound.

At the least I would flip it right before eating it, having it on top is good for presentation purposes.
