In short “It’s good, but it’s not the same as my mother makes it…”
No, but Star Trek shows us we can change for the better. I’m not saying I have a solution to offer, but violence shouldn’t be encouraged or pushed higher up in the list of things to try…
Any programmer today would think this is incredibly quaint.
Like using a keyboard :D
Not a brilliant move. Weekend sale, Twitch rewards… let’s touch the one thing designed explicitly to keep people from playing right when there’s a chance of new players!
In Voyager I had to “delete” my account from the interface and then add it back again before it worked again. Now in fairness the button shows “log out” while doing so, but still it was an unusual step so probably nice for others to know. :)

Your cat ran away? So you’re cat less? A word of advice, your sword might become legendary, keep it safe.
I don't remember the details, but I did remember Crusher and Troi looking different....
Not Deck related, but I hope it will also fix whatever the heck is going on with my desktop: still in act 1, but (I think) there's a memory leak that causes it to stutter more and more, to the point where it can actually decide to take a second off between frames. Multiple times per minute. I don't get it on Deck, so I get to choose between loud fan and modest graphics, or quiet 4K glory with a reminder I've been playing for a while... lol
I liked gender swapped Bones.
The cave thing was worse than you remember: he got in an argument on twitter with a guy telling him how dumb the submarine idea was, so the smart reply was to call the guy a sex tourist... and it was obviously the cave expert called in to supervise the entire rescue.
Nevermind how that was an ad hominem to begin with lol.
My understanding is that oleds are a weird beast. Since there’s no backlight, each pixel can be considered a small colored light, if you have a fully black screen, then it’s essentially off and not using any power. However, there are instances where the peak brightness is limited to a small portion of the screen, because blasting the entire thing of full brightness white would pass the power supply capacity…
That said, let me stress this: it’s my understanding. Not a hard fact, I might be wrong or just basing things on old information.
