note to self πποΈ Watch out for Laura.
To assume something isn't true based solely on the fact that you've never experienced it demonstrates a profound lack of empathy and critical thought. So does taking the time to complain about trans people in a meme instead of having an actual conversation with another human being.
If you take the time to do the latter instead, you might develop a shred of empathy, but you're afraid to, because that might mean you have to admit that you're wrong.
This article has a pretty negative slant, but is anyone actually sad they're going? I've been playing on and off since 2014, and I never have enough shards. My friends that have played almost nonstop since launch constantly have more than they could ever spend, even if they masterworked every piece of gear in their collection. Seems like a good change, honestly.
I know this is obvious, but Cash's beliefs are endlessly fascinating. The same man who recorded "Ragged Old Flag" also wrote "Man in Black" and covered "Out Among the Stars." The latter is a song about a kid who commits suicide by cop because he doesn't feel like his life matters.
Looks like these versions will actually have discs, unlike last time. Lol.
Sorry to get weirdly serious on a shitpost, but I don't know if a concept does cease to exist just because you're currently not thinking about it.
That's partly the theme of the novel The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, which argues--in quite a lovely way--that ideas have a life of their own. No one remembers Addie, and yet she still leaves marks on the world.
Anyway, have an upvote cause Ralph made me laugh, then overthink.
Wouldn't it be constantly fluctuating between speeds one or two numbers apart? Unless your foot is magic or you're in cruise control, lol. I feel like it could be distracting.
(I have a liberal arts degree. Two, in fact. And I had a job before I finished undergrad.)
I realize I'm a bit of an outlier, but don't let people tell you it's not possible.
Honestly, this is pretty in-character for both of them.
And as we all know, if it isn't Randian Anarcho-capitalism, then it's Communism, baby!
Obligatiory recommendedation: Jason co-hosts a gaming news podcast called Triple Click, alongside Maddy Myers, Deputy Games Editor at Polygon, and Kirk Hamilton, formerly of Kotaku and now host of Strong Songs. They're excellent at their work.
