If I pay this kind of money, I expect an API to user-respecting third party apps.
That's what they should do. Allow use of Reddit-style third party apps (before the API debacle) for premium users.

I've been having playable framerates but they're not improving. On a 10k city I get about 45fps average but I frequently experience frame drops which definitely make it less enjoyable to play the game. My specs are Ryzen 9 5900HX, RX6800M, 32GB RAM
What motorcycle is that?
10k gets you a brand new Yamaha MT-09: A sick-looking naked motorcycle with a 3 cylinder 118hp engine. It's really frickin fast.
They still allow sideloading through F droid and the like, as long as the app is specifically made for a newer Android version. There is a prompt to confirm (as with the Google Play Store), but this is good because it makes the user aware that they are installing an app.
Kudos for having the Pokemon adventure manga! I have a whole collection of them, and X/Y are the latest ones I have.
Gen 6 was the first new Gen I experienced unfold as a Pokemon fan. I remember having friends try to explain mega evolution to me and having my mind blown. Then I got Pokemon Y and was so enamored that I made a stupid little YouTube video of Blastoise mega evolving.
I have plenty of memories of X/Y, but I think other games have been more memorable: HG/SS, B/W (but strangely not B2/W2 as much), OR/AS (when that game turns 10 I'm gonna cry lol), and even [hot take alert] S/V.
Same here, why I went with a motorcycle instead lol
If the EU does that and Apple follows through in America (doubtful), Apple will most likely have my money. I'd love to have the good parts of iPhones but I can't stand how locked down it currently is.
You can use C++ for web technology instead of JavaScript? I'm taking a class in C++ right now so I'd be happy to swap janky JavaScript for pedantic but speedy C++ in new projects.
+1 to the last part.
I hate that you can be perpetually paying a company, but you also are still the product. I'm pretty sure it's like this with just about every subscription.
Gotta be in the right direction for creators though. If they cut 1/3 of creators revenue I'll never consider premium again.
I've seen people getting a "products you may like" in the suggestions, with premium. There is no way to remove that (other than uBlock origin)
