Having the general public feeling that they need to carry a gun for self defense just sounds crazy to me.

Stabbings have risen here in the UK but generally it's either a rare occasion where some nutter is on the run or it's gang related. In general I would never feel the need to carry my own knife around for self defense. I don't know anyone who carries a knife around with them for self defense.

Sticking with duck duck go. Not seeing advertising, news or video recommendations based on a one time search in Google is bliss.

I almost skipped the PS4 generation but got a PS4 Pro. As a result I had a huge catalogue of PS4 games to play and all at a decent price as they had been out for a while.

I was so impressed with the PS4 I purchased the PS5. Honestly the best thing about the PS5 is Astros Playground. Outside of that I'm just playing a remastered or patched PS4 game. The PS5 has been bitterly disappointing.

I read the title before looking at the guy and he looks exactly like the sort of person who would write that title

I stopped using Google late last year and it's pretty eye opening how much freer I feel now. Previously, any searches I made would follow me around. Make a one time search for something I'd see that being advertised later on. As a result I started searching more using private browsing. I'd often forget though and end up being tracked.

Ultimately switching to Firefox and DuckDuckGo I no longer have to do private searches. No more being followed around the internet.

Also I'm not convinced private browsing works. For example I still use it for YouTube but I noticed despite YouTube not knowing who I am, the videos on the home page include some that are very related to my usual videos. I guess they are using IP's to still deliver relatable videos.

I've never had prime. Whenever I look at Amazon now it's basically a local AliExpress with loads of cheaply made Chinese stuff. Amazon is not cheap anymore either. eBay is always cheaper.

14 years ago my wife hired me an Aston Martin DB9 for a weekend as it was my favourite car. Absolutely loved it. That said it wasn't a car I'd like for every day use. It was a hard ride and the heat from the engine came into the cockpit. My legs felt like they were on fire.

Supercars are usually great to play in but for day to day absolutely crap. I couldn't take it to the shop as I'd worry about it getting marked. People get jealous and go out of their way to ding nice cars.

Have you configured your OS to use a higher refresh rate in monitor settings? The difference is night and day...
