The service itself is great. The head of Proton made some comments online of a controversial nature - didnt agree with them but I was able to give the benefit of the doubt to Proton as a whole. Then they announced they were quitting Mastodon and gave a very disingenuous excuse.
This made my confidence in them wobble. I can exist with people of differing opinions, but when the corporate speak comes out - I'm off.
I moved my business from Microsoft / Google to Proton, then Proton's behaviour became a little bit concerning so I'm now moving everything across to NextCloud.
Humanity won't be able to finish a lego build in the next 12 months.
Wait. Hollywood doesn't actually care about the causes it champions? But that would mean they are doing it just for relevance and money?
