My impression from the Wiki entry above is that it's used to break edged weapons via blunt force vs. the more familiar European variant that traps/disarms/bends/snaps blades via torsion. Might be wrong, but it seems that way, at least.

If previews and E1 are still available, according to other commenters, then how many were originally planned if the series had its legs cut out from under it?

Why do you say Israel specifically? I was under the impression that he was a Russian asset via whatever network Francis D. Shelden established when he fled to the Netherlands.

I'm not even sure about how they could begin to integrate something like this into NORAD. The whole operation's pretty well sealed up in terms of classification, but what I understand is that it's built like a Cold War brick shithouse, even without considering it having been built into a mountain lol It stands to reason that they've been throwing money at it to modernize the analog systems, but I couldn't even speculate about how far along it is or how Grok could be integrated without compromising its integrity. Only time will tell, but it's good enough for a joke as it stands now, I guess.

Whopper would suit it well, both for the scale of the bullshit involved, and the cost.

I feel attacked (and scuffed and dog-eared).

Nice try, ICE.

Relevant incongruity.

Alright then, carry on.

Bingo, the subjects of crime documentaries are sometimes very difficult to paint in even a neutral light. Most producers don't even try, as if it were an honest effort to run their tongues over the cop's shoes the entire time. I think that the 2011 documentary from Werner Hertzog (Into the Abyss) is the best I've seen in recent years, given the way he's able to at least portray the subjects impartially.

No, not just you. I saw someone comment on this years, and years ago, calling "Copaganda". They were right, and so is everyone else I've seen talk about it, the way these documentaries glomp all over them like a 5-year-old with a hero complex is fucking pathetic coming from adults.

Let's see 'em, post your favourite weed culture notables. My pick is Willie Nelson; he's got a ton of great albums and songs from his decades (1962-2025) as a musician. A fine gentleman, and great ambassador for our best-loved plant.

Add to that, if you put Always On My Mind (1982) on the jukebox, it'll clear the out all the squares just like In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly and I'll Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) by Meatloaf.

"Nelson has been arrested several times for marijuana possession. The first occasion was in 1974 in Dallas, Texas. In 1977, after a tour with Hank Cochran, Nelson traveled to The Bahamas. Nelson and Cochran arrived late to the airport and boarded the flight without luggage. The bags were later sent to them. As Nelson and Cochran claimed their luggage in the Bahamas, a customs officer questioned Nelson after marijuana was found in a pair of his jeans. Nelson was arrested and jailed. As Cochran made arrangements to pay the bail, he took Nelson a six-pack of beer to his cell. Nelson was released a few hours later. Inebriated, he fell after he jumped celebrating and was taken to the emergency room. He then appeared before the judge, who dropped the charges but ordered Nelson to never return to the country."
