Man, I love the bit where Archer is already force feeding Trip a plate of shit for giving a person kept in sexual slavery a glimpse of a better life, and to add insult to injury he's all, "And on top of it all, now the Vissian couple will have to wait to be able to conceive."

Archer is the worst captain.

Well, clearly you're going to have to start again.

He is kind of a jerk in season one of TNG….

Anyone implying there are jokes in the canon connections post is mistaken. Star Trek is serious business.

I would be surprised if that's the last we see of Badgey, though pleasantly so.

Having Badgey appear to save Rutherford and the other Lower Deckers in a key moment as some sort of literal deus ex machina seems very likely.

On the other hand, by having Rutherford keep the Goodgey program, it does seem as though there is plenty of opportunity for Jack McBrayer to continue to make guest appearances on the show, without having to scream about ripping off peoples' skin, and I fully support that.

Personally, I think the most interesting thing they could do is tie Badgey's decision to an empty dimension and create a new universe into the extra-galactic synths we learned the existence of in season one of PIC, with no follow-up on. That's absolutely not going to happen, though.

Best boss I ever had.

"Day of Blood," Chapter Four. Thousands of years ago, Kahless the Unforgettable led his people to glory and raised an empire of honor. He now stands alongside Alexander in front of Worf and Sisko, pitting father and son against each other and making a mockery of the Bajoran Prophets and their emissary. Meanwhile, the power of the Orb of Destruction surges from his ship above. Can Kahless be stopped, or will he once again prove to be the greatest warrior of them all? Find out in the penultimate chapter of the crossover between Star Trek and Star Trek: Defiant!

I can tell from your shoes that you're a person of refinement and affluence.

Okay, but do you prefer TNG’s Ferengi episodes, or TNG Ferengi episodes?

More time for Legos!

I think Number One is supposed to be Pike's friend and confidant, similar to Sisko and Dax's relationship in DS9.

Who else is he going to confide in on this matter. Spock giving Pike relationship advice would be pretty wack.

Spock: Captain, I could not help but notice that the USS Cayuga warped away sooner than expected given your relationship with Captain Batel. The crew assumed you would want some "alone time" as ensign Uhura put it. I will not repeat what lieutenant Ortegas said.
Pike: Wait, you guys talk about my love life on the bridge?
Spock: Indeed. It is a matter of some interest.
Pike: Okay, I'm not exactly comfortable with that.
Spock: Captain, if you and Captain Batel are experiencing...difficulties, I would be happy to demonstrate some neuro-pressure massage techniques which can be quite stimulating. T'Pring has said I am particularly skilled, and as you are aware, Vulcans cannot lie.
Pike: Okay, now I'm really uncomfortable with this.

I suppose Doctor M'Benga could sub in as confidant instead.

She joined the United Earth Starfleet, though. If someone wanted to get really pedantic, they could claim there's a possibility she resigned her commission before the transition to the Federation Starfleet.

But yeah, T'Pol, the senior staff of the USS Intrepid, the various admirals we've seen in Disco and SNW, all would have joined Starfleet before Spock.

Pelia was in Vermont, and La’an specifically says they had to bribe a border cop to cross into the States.

If she was in Vancouver, they would have had to have taken a plane each way.
