Read Careless People, you won't be surprised but it's a great look into a dysfunctional company ran by sociopaths.

The only thing missing from it is some mention of AI

There's Lion Electric in Quebec but it's very early and a while. before anything from them hits the consumer market.

They do buses right now but they have shown prototypes of consumer cars in the past.

It's fucking short-sighted is what it is. The bill is bad, it's far too vague and gives far too much power to the federal government which will hurt us in the long run.

I'm not blaming Russia, I'm not saying Dems were not gonna side with Israel. You asked if Putin wanted the strikes on Iran. I'm saying there's no way he wasn't on board.

Does he like it? I don't know but one thing for sure is he knew about the strikes and agreed to them. With all that Trump did to benefit Putin up till then, no way in hell he didn't ask permission to do that move...

Lol Netanyahu is not Trump's master, he's his business buddy.

The guy thinks like an 80s caricature of a business man. He wants to build resorts in Gaza so he cozies up with Israel. Plus there's oil and natural gas in Iran. Iran is a friend of China which Trump desperately wants to look strong against.

He doesn't care about Israel or Palestinians (or anyone for that matter) he couldn't give two shits. If the roles were reversed, he would cozy up to the power in charge.

I'm not saying he's a great strategist, I think he goes with the opportunities and jumps on them when he can and he takes a lot of miscalculated risks, exactly like he run his other businesses.

But one thing for sure, he asked Putin before he did launched his pew pews on Iran.

Do you think Trump didn't ask permission to his master before bombing Iran?

I live 30 minutes from where they lived and I'm a parent, this affected me so much and I had lost all hopes when they found her dog dead along the highway. I cried from relief when I heard the news they found her alive today. I hope she gets all the help she can and that it doesn't scar her too much in the long run.

That show was so good. Sadly it's not streaming legally anywhere, at least in Canada. I had to get the Blu Ray to watch it and honestly, it holds up. I wish they didn't cancel it...

For the generation between Gen X and Millenials or anyone that's interested about it. Come share your music, memes, nostalgia or anything really.

Xennials is a portmanteau blending the words Generation X and Millennials to describe a "micro-generation" or "cross-over generation" of people whose birth years are between the mid-late 1970s and the early-mid 1980s.

Good magazine has described Xennials as "a micro-generation that serves as a bridge between the disaffection of Gen X and the blithe optimism of Millennials."

Xennials dated, and often formed ongoing relationships, pre-social media. They usually weren't on Tinder or Grindr, for their first go at dating at least. They called up their friends and the person they wanted to ask out on a landline phone, hoping that it wasn't their intended date's parent who picked up."

Basically, our childhood was internet less, we experienced the rise of internet during our teens and we learned to live with social media during our early adulthood.

We experienced the cold war, the rise of terrorism and are very aware of the impact of the west on the world. We were in college when the towers fell, we were part of the workforce when Facebook was created. We used IRC, ICQ Yahoo, Google, Netscape, Napster. Most of us didn't have a computer when we were young but started using them in High School.

We often identify with mix of Gen X and Millenials traits. We're often a a bit cynical but want to be hopeful and believe in people and society.

Obviously, generations are not fixed in stone and don't dictate who we are or how we think but as a group we often feel different than Gen X and Millenials. Our older siblings are Gen X, our younger siblings are Millenials, we're something in between.

Post your xenials playlists!

Here's one I made on Tidal because I couldn't find anything decent (suggestions welcome!) https://tidal.com/playlist/5a2e2d77-69c0-4134-9f8c-0f1e3fee221b

Trying to find a way to be able to chat at a distance with my kids when playing Minecraft together online.

I'm having a really hard time finding a privacy focused video/audio chat that isn't American or aimed at businesses.

Something like Signal would be perfect but they don't have a phone so yeah...

I tried to set up Jami but it's too difficult and it needs to be simple for them since the oldest is 10 :/

The package is basically the same as Stack TV with few additions and the ability to add Hollywood Suite.

It is owned by VMedia < Freedom Mobile < Videotron < Québecor

Not too sure why there's so many levels under Québecor but all the levels are Canadian owned and operated.
