I disagree. I’ve had many times where people call out plot holes in movies just because they stand out to them. Not because they are trying to appear smart.
It happens a lot on the Star Wars and Star Trek communities here on lemmy but I don’t see it getting the same reaction.
There are a lot of people I wouldn’t want to go to the movies with. But I wouldn’t write an article about each of them telling them to shut the fuck up.
That reaction just doesn’t make sense to me.

It’s not selfish of you. Children need attention and time. Society has been so focused on maximizing productivity that it has taken away the time needed to raise children. There are many people that have enough money for a child but not enough time for a child.
They’re double dipping. They sell you the insurance then take your money and deny your claim. Then you have to pay them whatever price they come up with for repairs.
You sure he didn’t just say “she’s a dick taker and a slut”?
I think they do it intentionally to maintain their echo chamber of propaganda.
