We ran a regular comics discussion for a while, but there wasn't a lot of engagement at the time.

My personal feeling is that I'd like to see more comics and Treklit discussion on c/startrek before splintering anything off into its own community, but I'm also very interested to hear what others think!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I didn't realize there were conspiracy theories floating around about them being fired or some nonsense. I figured the actual reason was probably pretty benign.

Once again, I can confirm that this giveaway is legitimate - good luck!

That setting is the rough timeframe that precedes the first season of "Picard," with the Romulan supernova, the attack on Mars, and various other events of that nature being relatively recent history.

Monosyllabic and obsessed with dom-jot?

its existence as a starfleet element was blurry.

The very first S31 episode had Starfleet Command actively stonewalling Sisko's inquiries, and Kira openly calling it a cover-up, so no, I don't think its status as part of Starfleet was ever under serious question.

If you're going to have delusions, you might as well go for the really satisfying ones.

I would argue that Prodigy is very Starfleet-centric.

Honestly, that's distinction without difference.

There are people living here who believe this shit - it doesn't really matter where they got it.

It’s from the second episode of Season 1 but Saru is wearing his uniform from Season 4 of Discovery.

I'm pretty sure it's a nod to TAS and other cartoons of the era having inexplicable errors when it comes to character models and animation.
