The short answer is that no such test has ever been produced, and the boxing association that claimed they had done one never revealed the precise results, or even which lab had supposedly done the test, and has since been decertified for corruption.

“While five seasons of any series these days seems like a miracle, it’s no exaggeration to say that every second we’ve spent making this show has been a dream come true.”

Indeed, if even an animated series is ending after five seasons, I expect this to be a pretty firm maximum moving forward.

“We remain hopeful that even beyond Season 5, Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, Rutherford and the whole Cerritos crew will live on with new adventures,”

That's encouraging.

It's probably just as "locked" as any other time period, which is to say not at all. Recent SNW episodes have hammered home the idea that the present, past, and future are all somewhat malleable.

They're regular "no spill" mugs. Pretty useful on a boat.

And, I guess, in space.

The Romulan operative Nedar wore sunglasses while on duty as Starfleet Commodore Oh - this suggests they're at least an option for Starfleet officers.

If you go way back to the United Earth Starfleet, Archer and Trip both wore sunglasses while on duty.

The instance sidebar has a fairly concise description of each community hosted here.

I don't want to be that guy, but given the state of the industry, and series being cancelled without warning, it feels more like 2004 to me.

And no, it's not a perfect comparison.
