Would be nice if someone else would be stepping up as well. Germany hardly has any military to speak of yet it is somehow delivering the most weapons in recent months/weeks.

Has anyone else the feeling that this will become a very long term thing of needing to protect shipping vessels and that it will affect prices of imported goods for the unforeseeable will rise ?

That's also not a home. That's a villain's lair.

Ironic how she was one of the big proponents of collective guilt yet she claims she didn't know her family was doing buisness with Russia

Of course you are reading through less garbage. There are like 100 million reddit users and like 10 Lemmy users.

Not everything is WW2 related my dude.

The saddle product family you're looking at literally has Medicus in its name and you rather associate a cross with the military and not the red cross or medicine.

News from Gamers Nexus. Including some part about the response from Linus regarding the previous video. Linus really likes to jump the gun and digging holes for himself.

Holy shit. LTT is really not doing themselves any favors by starting this.

The faulty stuff they put out without even feeling bad about it is insane.

They are also lying by claiming nuclear is being replaced by coal. How can nuclear be replaced by coal when share of coal is also declining at the same time as nuclear is declining.

People don't care about facts. They just want to spread their uninformed hysteria about Germany.

I don't really think it's necessarily exploitive. Western countries place great value on education/training and certifications. And there is a clear difference on how such education/certification is obtained in the west vs other places of the world.

Acting like they are equal when in many cases they aren't is just not a good idea. Especially for someone like a police officer.

Hey everyone.

Does anyone else have the same issue with the comments not being displayed properly? For lots of comments it shows the "view parent" link which just links to the main post again. It's impossible to see the actual parent comment.

Yes we could if the rich paid their fair share in taxes and didn't hog all the wealth. All they do is drizzle some tiny amount to the public here and there to appear generous and get tax benefits.

The vast majority of their money just gets wasted for their egomaniacal projects in an attempt to be remembered forever.

None of the shit they are developing is going to safe us from extreme climate change. In fact those same people are a heavy driving force behind climate change.

They aren't solving any actual issues. They are just hogging resources and wasting them on their dream projects. They are taking away resources that others need to survive.

No but what I noticed is that quite a few songs I had on my liked list are now unavailable and I have no clue which songs that were.

To be fair the majority of posts I see have barely any comments at all. Not sure if that is so much better.

The 36-year-old, who works in adult education, said she felt as if her religion was often cast as the problem, rather than the people behind the burnings.

Shows you how delusional they are. Yes YOUR religion is a problem because it gets massively upset about someone burning paper. Even to the point advocating for violence. Religion is the cancer of modern society.

Since a few days lemmy.world won't let me log in when I'm using a browser on my desktop computer.

I tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge including private tabs and without any extensions. I enter my username and password and then it prompts me to enter my 2fa token. When I do and press login nothing happens.

It doesn't say it's wrong or was rejected. The login button turns into the circle loading animation and then a second later back to login.

The weird thing is that on my phone it works using apps like Liftoff or chromebrowser.

What am I missing ?

edit:

Okay I feel very stupid now... It appears that for some reason the automatic time synchronization of my Windows computer was not working properly and therefore the OTP codes were out of sync and were being rejected. Lemmy was just not telling me that the OTP codes are wrong. After manually clicking the sync button in the date and time settings it works now.

Trying to find out how difficult (or not) it will be to switch from iso layout to ansi. Main reason is the much better choice of keycaps that will be available.

Have any of you made the switch ? If so how difficult was it ?
