Personally I don't know you so I might be wrong, but based on what you described sounds like you're doing it more as a chore than having fun
Lmao I literally bought Rollerdrome today. It's been pretty fun and hectic so far so I do recommend checking it out
Thanks, I'll make sure to check them out!
Sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it?
Haha I feel you, I appreciate the links people have posted, it definitely helps. I am also very thankful for the reaction that most metalheads have towards these issues. It's great that we care about the community enough to address it's troublemakers rather than pretending they don't exist or it's not a big deal.
Have you played 'Vampire Survivors'? Rounds last at maximum of 30 minutes Easy to learn, but there's a lot of content to keep you occupied It's $5 but it goes on sale often
I agree with your sentiment, after all what is a game console without games.
What I want isn't necessarily a unique architechture, rather I want a unique experience. I think looking at Smartphone landscape expresses my concerns much clearer. All phones today are basically just reskins of same phone in design, purpose and architechture. Sure there are some novelty phones with smaller audiences for the sake of novelty but what makes you choose a phone over the other is just marketing at this point. I'm afraid that's where we're headed with consoles. The difference is the home consoles are replaceable.
Thanks, I guess it's an issue with my App not picking it up then :)
I remember there was a website where you could choose a companys Privacy Policy and it would give you the important points.
Even if you don't sign into an account, you still have google play services running on your phone (it's seperate from play store). So even though you're not directly feeding your information into it, they still infer a lot of information from how you use your phone e.g. the wifi you connect to, apps on your phone, location services etc. You can't tell who someone is based on one or two of these little bits of data, but put them all together and now they know exactly who you are
You are %100 correct, but I don't understand how defederating Meta will change any of the things you pointed out?
She's not complaining about the skeptisism. The quote is:
"Some people got angry. 'Animals can't talk,' they say. But most of it is not even worth my time," Devine said. "My perspective is you can believe what you want to believe. This is our day-to-day life. I'm not selectively editing; I'm not cherry-picking."
It mentions she is actively cooperating with some professors to understand this phenomena better.
