Nothing he does ever comes back to bite him, why would this?

What a shock that must be for him.

Many years ago I got banned from r/conservative for asking where exactly conservation came into play as part of their ideology. On its face, being conservative sounds awesome. I want to conserve this planet's ecology. I want to conserve human rights. I have never seen any conservative American politician in the last thirty some-odd years try to conserve anything. It would be much more apt to call them regressionists, but they're so much worse than that.

But since you willingly identify yourself as a conservative, and you're here, what is your take?

Edit: After reading through your other responses... Never mind. I can see you are more a literalist when it comes to the definition of the word conservative, but that is not and has never been what the political ideology has been for or about. Your attempts to make it something it's not may be noble, if not misguided when you could just associate yourself with the people who believe in the same things you do.

I'm not sure it's possible to put it all back together again even if it's possible to put dems in charge.

We crossed this threshold on day 3.

So it's literally just Elon.

Actually the opposite. He's hoping to continue getting shot by right wing nuts. That's why he can't be controversial or they won't cast him.

So we're blaming the facility that has never had any issues incinerating previous to this event, rather than the FBI for their clear incompetence? And y'all are not only buying but upvoting it, too? Okay.

What a disappointment this series turned out to be.

Idle Hands if you like Army of Darkness and gross out practical effects.

He could give every member of the committee a billion dollars and be none the poorer for it.

Not that you're wrong, but with a tyrant of his means, who's essentially above the law, well...

It's aways nice to see reading comprehension out in the wild.

Okay, I suppose I was too vague.

Is it [Richard’s comments] even close to [ being as bad as] publicly supporting a genocide? Hell no.

I'm saying Richards may be a better person than Seinfeld, but I wouldn't excuse his words or actions because they're not something a non-racist would ever even think to do or say.

Hope that is clear now.

Nikolai Patrushev, aid to Putin, has accused the U.S. and the U.K. of intending to sabotage underwater internet cables and planning to destabilize the maritime energy trade.

Citing U.S. officials, CNN reported in September that Russia was developing a sabotage unit with submarines and drones to target underwater infrastructure by order of the defense ministry's Main Directorate for Deep- Sea Research (GUGI).

A Swedish investigation found evidence of sabotage on the pipelines between Russia and Germany. Moscow had initially accused the U.S. Probes by Sweden and Denmark were closed in February 2024 without identifying those responsible, although a German investigation is ongoing.

Media in Norway have reported concerns at the presence in the last few weeks of the Russian intelligence ship Yantar in international waters alongside its coast near critical seabed infrastructure such as oil and gas pipelines and cables for internet and telecommunications.
