It’s not that I don’t trust, but I want to understand. What is actually happening and how do these Repack thingies work?

And why are they called that 😂

Thanks in advance.

Edit: thanks so much for the replies all, I think I got it! :)

The internet sucks.

This is so very the answer.

It’s so interesting to see a friend barely making ends meet but thinking they’re a few wins away from being “self-made”.

I don’t think they’re ‘dumb idiots’, but definitely wilfully ignorant, and it’s very sad.

Little salt, pepper, bit of EVOO. Scrumptious.

Reminded me of this article on the old CSS-Tricks website. Particularly the heading “words to avoid” (linked)

https://css-tricks.com/advice-for-technical-writing/#aa-there-are-lots-of-words-to-avoid

Sounds like they want someone who can mind read.

Good.

Keep it up everyone!

Nah, Invidious is just pure YouTube content.

Edit: for more context these are all alternative front-ends. Not replacement services.

They were served a C&D for misuse of the YouTube API.

But they don’t use the YouTube API…

Hi Obsidian legends!

I’m trying to find a way to do this:

  1. I type /@PersonsName
  2. Obsidian recognises /@PersonsName is a person because of the @ symbol
  3. Wraps in a hyperlink: [[/@PersonsName]]
  4. Creates a templated note in a specific folder e.g. /people

Is something like this possible?
