Bonus ( ^ω^)
I like it more than Last of Us personally.
Why do all the shots of the characters taking off/putting on a piece of clothing look so noticeably good in this anime lol
The new elf seems like Frieren from before Frieren's time, veteran adventurer who used to be well known but his era has passed, sort of felt like a mirror into Frieren's future when everyone she knows now has long passed and no one remembers the story of the heroes who defeated the demon lord, kinda sad.
Still feels odd when the elf talk about decades or centuries like it's barely any time at all.
Yeah I noticed that too, Fern taking off her robe and throwing it away and Stark putting on his jacket both looked really good, like almost rotoscoped
Oh no! Another cliffhanger >.>
Kinda wish I had waited until this season was over so I could binge it, I have such little patience, but then I wouldn't have been able to participate in these discussion threads so I guess it's not all bad!
Yeah I love the way she is portrayed, it's unique. So often in media these seemingly immortal beings behave like regular people, Frieren's seemingly cold demeanor is just a consequence of her being so long lived, it is definitely a very refreshing take on such a character.
I think she is just kinda indifferent, she doesn't mind being stuck in prison because 2-3 years mean nothing to her.
You know I would do that if for nothing else than just for the sake of variety, but I'm such a coward >.> Just don't have the stomach for it lol. The idea of this messed up person redeeming themselves is appealing to me, I'm not doing 100% "goody two shoes" kinda character but more of a reluctant hero who's still bit of a dick. Maybe I'll start another playthrough where I play the way you're suggesting...I'll never experience act 2 at this rate <.<
After seeing an article about dark urge and how special it is I decided to give it a shot. I also read a comment on here saying romance between Shadowheart and Seluna's cleric MC is great. So I decided to combine those two things for my 3rd playthrough! ( i have yet to experience act 2 btw...think I have a problem)
I made a Seldarine drow with the idea being that she used to be bloodthirsty Lolth sworn but eventually she found Seluna and became her cleric, now she's trying to be better. I thought that worked well with heroic dark urge story I wanted and I get to experience the enemies to lovers relationship with shadowheart. Don't know if the way the story will unravel will validate my headcanoned backstory for her but so far I'm quite enjoying it.
This is also the first playthrough where I met Timber the squirrel, I didn't know he was in the game before this playthrough, I was kinda excited to meet him...yeah.
Desperately waiting for Miyo to develop some sense of self worth and stop taking shit from people.
So the cousin's plan was to make a deal with the emperor to get Miyo back and then what? Keep her locked in the house forever, marry her against her wishes and have children? How is he any different than her previous family?
This is a recurring thing in this show that's starting to really irk me, characters do reprehensible things to Miyo and then the show just shrugs it off like it's no biggie, the shithead cousin is already getting a redemption arc without the show even acknowledging how fucked up what he did is, grandfather isn't much better but with the way they are portraying him I'm supposed to have a favorable opinion of him and I really don't.
Oh I totally forgot respeccing is an option lol, guess I'll go with actor for now.
Wanted to get this done for pride month...oh well, better late than never I suppose. Happy Pride y'all! :)
